Tess Vaughn, PT, DPT, COMT, OCS
Tess has been practicing physical therapy since 1996. She has practiced in a variety of settings, but has been in the outpatient setting since 1999. Dr. Vaughn graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 1996 with a Master's in Physical Therapy. She received her advanced certification in orthopedic manual therapy in 2004 through the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO in August 2009. In 2010 Dr. Vaughn earned the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation through the American Physical Therapy Association and is now able to practice Dry Needling in the state of Georgia.
Dr. Vaughn has presented nationally on the cervicothoracic and lumbosacral spine and is a book reviewer for the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. She is currently the Education Chair for the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Tess opened Medical Rehab Systems in Winterville in 2005 to serve the needs of the residents of Winterville, East Athens, Oglethorpe County and Madison County. It has been her goal to provide exceptional service to her community and her home town.
