Dr. Vaughn graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 1996 with a Master's in Physical Therapy. She received her advanced certification in orthopedic manual therapy in 2004 through the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO in August 2009. In 2010 Dr. Vaughn earned the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation through the American Physical Therapy Association and is now certified to practice Dry Needling in the state of Georgia.
Dr. Vaughn has presented nationally on the cervicothoracic and lumbosacral spine and is a book reviewer for the Journal of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. She held the position of Education Chair for the Orthopaedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association for three years and Vice Chair for two years.
Tess opened Medical Rehab Systems in Winterville in 2005 to serve the needs of the residents of Winterville, East Athens, Oglethorpe County and Madison County. It has been her goal to provide exceptional service to her community and her hometown.
